About the Book:
Cecelia Spenndrum's life plan is working out
beautifully: New York City, handsome boyfriend who just happens to be

she is assigned to Danny Mann.
Danny Mann is a has-been rock star from the
seventies. His finances are low, so he decides to write his
autobiography...only he doesn't know how.
As his ghostwriter, Cecelia must endure his
appalling lifestyle and write a flattering autobiography for him.
Throughout their journey together, Danny and Cecelia become friends,
and Cecelia is forced to question her original life plan.

twenty-two years in Springfield, Illinois. Carol resides in Illinois
with her husband and two children. Writing His Autobiography
