About the Book:
WANDA P not only touches
upon the vital roles different cells play in our bodies, but on the
macrocosm of human existence here on earth and within the rest of the
galaxy. Author, Trevor Claiborn believes that all things are
interconnected, and the overall good of the whole body or mechanism
depends on all its parts, from the smallest cell to the largest organ
performing its natural duties.
WANDA P is actually Wanda
P. Jones, an old woman dying of a lung problem, because the cells in
her body have rebelled against the natural order. WANDA P also
represents earth as the body that human cells occupy. The characters
draw some comedy out of our petty differences. Claiborn believes that
if we can see ourselves as the small creatures we are in comparison to
our vast universe, it will invite a natural respect for one another
and a peaceful coexistence.
About the
Author:
As a janitor in Lexington,
Kentucky, Trevor Claiborn enjoyed many nights of thought and
contemplation. Realizing that his role as a custodian (which he
thoroughly enjoys) is vital to keeping the community and his buildings
clean, led him to spend more than half of a decade in a long
independent study of many races, cultures, and religions, their
histories, and their roles in this galactic jungle and within our
earthly community. Studying outside of a structured institution
provides a different perspective on truth and the wisdom of the ages.
A lover of words, Trevor Claiborn, in this, his first published work,
lays the foundation for a never-ending quest for understanding and
insight.
