About the Book:

Shadows and Light was compiled over the course of more than a decade, with some poems written mere months ago and others written during the author's first days as an undergraduate back in the early 2000s. The poems collected here are like prisms reflecting his temperament, moods, ideas, and philosophies at various stages of his life.

Each poem is a thread creating the tapestry that is this collection. This tapestry is a representation of a human being. Through it, perhaps, readers may gain insight into how different strands of consciousness come together to create an individual.
