Tucker, an English Springer spaniel has an earthly life filled with love and happiness with his human parents. One day he discovers that he is growing old, weary, and unwell and no longer has the energy to play with his toys or ride in the car, one of his favorite things to do. During his sleep, a magnificent angel comes to him in a dream, and reaches out to Tucker to take him to heaven. Urging him to get out of bed and start the journey to heaven, she tells Tucker he is needed for a special task for Jesus.

Curious, and not so faithful, he slowly gets out of bed, and discovers that he is no longer old, weary, or sick, but feels wonderfully good and puppy-like again. He allows the angel to lead him to the golden gates of heaven, where Jesus awaits his arrival, and assigns Tucker a special task of taking care of a new little boy, Daniel, who arrived in heaven the night before.

Tucker Goes to Heaven is a story of a loving and good pet, who is rewarded by Jesus and His Father for his goodness on earth.
