About the author
Len Ritchey grew up in Roaring Spring,
Pennsylvania. He graduated from Roaring Spring High School, attended
Penn State University, New York Institute of Technology, and the
University of LaVerne, California, and holds BA and MBA degrees in
Management. He was a career Navy officer, specializing in electronics
and logistics. He has been an engineering consultant, sales and
service field representative for petroleum distributors, customer
service representative for commercial telecommunications users, and a
special assistant in President Reagan’s Office of Administration. He
raises, trains, markets and transports
horses; he has traveled more than four hundred fifty thousand miles
delivering hundreds of horses throughout America and parts of Canada.
Len and Cleo, his wife of thirty-four years, live in Mechanicsburg,
Pennsylvania. They have two daughters—Tegan, who plays piano, and
Bryce, who trains horses. Travels With Horses is Len’s first
volume.
