About the Book

The story begins with a rabbit family who finds and adopts Linkey, who was left with a puzzling note referring to the "missing link." As Linkey grows up with his brother Binkey, he becomes aware of different characteristics of himself, his family, and friends in the sheltered village in which they live. When a visitor arrives from another town and talks about his travels and experiences, Linkey's curiosity is piqued. Linkey and Binkey set off on an adventure to the visitor's hometown to explore a world unknown to them. Their journey starts by taking The Long Winding Road and ultimately discovering the meaning of the "missing link."
