| About the Book
Abby Duncan can’t sleep. She’s just accepted a challenging new
position at a prestigious Pittsburgh hospital. She’s dreading her
looming milestone birthday. And now she’s got a wedding to plan. But
from the moment her fiancé, Rick Cassidy, slips the vintage
aquamarine solitaire onto her finger, Abby begins to experience
vivid, haunting dreams.
First, she sees a terrified young woman hiding from an intruder in
her home. Then, she discovers that the intruder had been dispatched
to the house. And later, through her nightmares, Abby witnesses the
murder of the young woman, on whose finger shines a pale blue
heirloom ring set in rich, white platinum.
So, with the ring on her finger and a driving desire to solve the
homicide believed by all to be a botched burglary, Abby pieces
together a sinister conspiracy. And soon, her own life is in
jeopardy when, like the woman in her dreams, Abby gets in the way of
the killer’s evil plot . . .
