Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go scuba diving? In Scuba Diving: A Newcomer’s Point of View, author Ed English details his first seventy-one dives. Without any prior experience in the diving field, he and his teenage son and daughter became certified divers, opening up a new world of experiences for themselves. Unlike so many books on the subject, their report is not driven by a desire to promote the diving industry; they have no sponsors to please. This is simply their account of what they actually experienced—what you can see yourself, if you go diving. It is not an expert’s account for other experts. Divers and non-divers alike will enjoy this true story of a newcomer’s introduction to and view of the amazing world of diving, the same view anyone will have who takes up diving as a recreational sport. Find out what it could be like for you and your family to take scuba diving trips together. As Ed himself says, "We did it and had a blast. We hope you too really benefit from and enjoy this book."
