About the Author:
Canadian born Leahanne Allen felt compelled to
tell the story of her daughter Riley. A marketing and sales
professional, Leahanne was living the “typical” family life. Busy
juggling family and career, life was going as planned until the
diagnosis of their 18 month old daughter Riley. Cancer would change
their lives forever. Today, almost six years later, Leahanne and her
family view life very differently than before. Her motto: “Life is to
be lived to the fullest, moment by moment, day by day.” Riley Socks is
her way of giving hope to those families walking the same path. “Hope
and the power to believe is in all of us … you just have to trust it.”
