About the Book

Things unseen that bump, roll, and whisper in the morning, noon, and night, are part of day-to-day living, and after-living, in these stories of the paranormal in Scituate, Massachusetts. The co-authors were drawn together to write this book through a love of storytelling, an interest in what is considered paranormal, unusual personal experiences, and a good healthy respect for the unusual personal experiences of others who so graciously gave of themselves and their stories. Heightened perception, ESP, sensitivity, and good old-fashioned ghost stories come together to weave many tales that stray far from the garden variety. Each was told with earnestness, honesty, and conviction. Each storyteller was interviewed with an open heart and an open mind. It is the authors’ conviction that each story shared with them was very real and part of normal life experience rather than paranormal. In thanks to their neighbors and friends who offered stories and to the Scituate community, the authors have offered a portion of the proceeds of each book sold to the Scituate Food Pantry and The Scituate Historical Society.

About the Author

Kathie is a teacher of 36 years who currently teaches writing at the University of Massachusetts at Boston. She has written poetry, essays, articles, and prose, much of which has been published in magazines, journals, and newspapers. She also teaches music in educational programs all over the South Shore.

Neal is a Renaissance Man. There isn’t much he can’t do or hasn’t done, however he is not new to writing or photography. He is retired from his profession as Technical Writer and Publications Manager, though he still works in the maintenance field; not bad for an octogenarian. He is also a professional photographer whose artistry may be seen all over the South Shore, including Scituate, MA.
