About the Book:
With not enough trained operatives due to the
increase in terrorism within its borders, where does a security
service go to find trained and dedicated people to quickly fill that
gap? Not an easy thing to resolve, you might say. But there is such a
place. Only a handful of very top people know of its existence, and
it’s one of the most closely guarded secrets ever. Those that live
there and work undercover are not what you might expect: just orphan
boys who suddenly find they are “operationally upgraded.” The boys
from Camp Thunderer are a tough bunch; they live dangerously and put
their young lives on the line on a daily basis.
The nuclear nations of the world are thrown into
turmoil when something is offered for sale on the “Black Market” which
they conceive as being genuine. The perpetrators seem unstoppable, but
they are a little unlucky when they happen upon a thirteen-year-old
boy on a routine surveillance mission from Camp Thunderer.
It turns into a deadly game of life and death, to
which only he, Aaron Tyler, has the final answer.
About the Author:
When David Hills’ father signed the papers for
his fourteen-year-old son to join the Royal Navy upon leaving school,
he could have had little idea of the world of adventure he was
launching his young son into. A world of adventure and comradeship
with other boys his age was just the beginning.
David’s recall of those memories, experiences and
the drama of those early years is what makes his book a must-read for
every boy with adventure in his heart.
