About the Book

On her way to New York, a little girl finds herself among colorful people and wild adventures. After spending most of the morning looking around the farm for Mrs. Polka Dots, Melissa finally gets to relax on the comfortable seats of a train. But minutes after boarding, Melissa meets a charismatic, tiny man, Mr. I Forgot. This spectacular fellow wears a red-and-yellow suit and a purple chicken for a hat. Then he lets Melissa look inside his red, magic bag. Soon Melissa is flying up to Little Town in space with some new friends. And meeting more strange, wonderful people: Mrs. Remember I Forgot, the queen of Little Town, One the cheerful clown, Old Mr. New, a pink and blue singing puppy, a delicious chocolate bike, a tiny purple fox, and many other enchanting characters. Up in Little Town, there is no shortage of magic, adventure, and fun.   About the
