Je me fais lampadaire
Sur la route de la vie
J’éclaire
Jour et nuit
Sous l’orage et
pluie
J’éclaire
Aussi fort que la vérité
Dans un ciel blessé
J’éclaire
Sous la pression du tonnerre
Malgré l’éclaire
Me déclare souvent la guerre
Je n’éteindrai guère
C’est ma prière
J’éclairerai toujours comme un enfer
Comme le coeur de Lucifer
About
the Author:
Rénel Saintilmond
was born in Haiti and has resided in Orlando, Florida for more than
ten years. Most people can relate to his writing and will find a
verse or a paragraph that depicts their own personal experiences,
feelings, or dreams. Rénel started writing as a youth and has always
been a visionary trying to do his part for the betterment of this
world. An element of melancholy founded on the near destruction of
this world by hatred, injustice, bigotry, disease, and power flows
across his poems. In spite of all that, he stays optimistic that the
world can be changed if we change the way we think, the way we live,
and the way we treat each other.
