About the Book
How could I be so dumb about men?
A candid, witty
and reflective story that shares my accidental journey to
discovering personal and sexual maturity through the men in my life.
It spans twenty-seven years between my first and second marriage, many
tales of loves, near loves and no love. Triumphant, yet bittersweet,
Men and Me says out loud with humor and optimism
those things every single woman feels at times, but might be afraid to
say. I trust you will find a bit of yourself in my adventures.
It begins in New
York. I am twenty-four, newly separated, making my first entry as a
single woman and mother. I am fresh, romantic, optimistic
and naïve and on my own for the first time in my life. I am
wide-eyed and tremendously ignorant. I believe in love, passion and
romance.
Meet my men. My
teachers. My guides. My entertainment. My insight.
From our distorted
self-images to our overly eager-to-please personalities to our refusal
to give up on the happily-ever-after fairy tale, Rochelle touches on
all womens’ never-ending quests for happiness, love, fun and that one
connection that may just change our lives.
Men and Me
…..a woman’s friend,
a source of entertainment and insight.
