About the Book:
Many Christian liberals became so out of their
rejection of fundamentalism. Fed Up with Fundamentalism spoke
to this view, presenting the background of and theological/ethical
criticisms of fundamentalism.
Yet, there just as many reasons to doubt liberal
theology. The sequel to Fed Up with Fundamentalism, this book
elucidates the historical background and various theological
criticisms of Christian liberalism. Those of you who flirted with
liberalism out of disgust are encouraged to read this book and to
consider whether or not they have gone too far in that rejection and
exceeded the limits of liberalism.
Taken together, the goal is a solid theological
position between the "extremes" of fundamentalism and liberalism. A
radiant center that Christians both on the right and on the left may
seek and claim, to the benefit of their faith.
