About the Author:
D. Kildare was the pen name of Delores (Dannie) Kildare, who was born
in 1934 and attended UCLA. She married in 1957 and moved to Austin,
Texas. She and her husband spent a semester in Paris and another in
Montpellier as well as a summer at Oxford; on her own she also
traveled to China and Nepal. These travels are often reflected in her
poems. She died in June, 2005. |
