About the Book:
We live in an unpredictable world, one that is
ever-changing, causing hearts to grow faint and minds to grow weary.
We need inner strength for our daily lives. Can God meet all our
needs? How Big Is Your God? was written for those who are
searching for solutions to the problems they face.
The aim of this book is to encourage pastors,
Christian workers, and lay believers to grow in their understanding of
who God is, to comprehend all that He wants to be in their lives. We
need to realize afresh and anew that our almighty God knows our needs
and desires to be our Provider, our Shepherd, our Peace.
This rich Bible study, along with its practical
devotional application, poems, and uplifting hymns, will bless and
warm your heart as you grow in your love and appreciation for all that
He longs to be in your life.
About the Author:
A first-time author, Richard Pettitt was
converted at age twelve and called to the pastorate at age fourteen.
Following ministerial preparation, he pastored Baptist churches in
Pennsylvania, Tennessee, New Jersey, and Ohio. For forty-one years he
served in various capacities with home and foreign mission agencies
(including Evangelical Baptist Missions and Baptist Church Planters),
speaking in twenty-three states and nine foreign countries. Following
retirement, he spent the next seven years ministering through Bible
conference work. He has devoted his later years to completing How Big
Is Your God?, ambitiously begun much earlier during his traveling
ministries.
