About the Book

Linda Garza, the young Mexican-American schoolteacher of THE LITTLE BLACK SCHOOLHOUSE, is joined by Carlos Lopez, a Mexican-American school resource officer, in the fight to save the children of Northside Elementary School from certain destruction. Only this time, they find themselves caught in the middle of a struggle between organized crime and supernatural evil. Will their knowledge of ancient Aztec legend be sufficient to save the children? Why is the mysterious La Llorona still weeping? For whom does she weep?
