Illustrated by:
Becky Kelly creates a world seemingly suspended in time-a world
where children dangle their toes in clear running streams....best
friends giggle and daydream in the comfortable crook of an ancient
tree....and ethereal fairies doze on dew-dappled leaves. But Becky
points out that what she paints is not fantasy, the scenes she paints
are based on the real world-with sprinkling of stardust to add a bit
of magic. Even as a child, Becky always had a paintbrush in her hand.
Her love of art, nature and children has grown into an impressive
collection of gift books, journals, greeting cards, posters & prints,
bookmarks, and baby products. Over the years she has been a
contributor to award-winning children's magazines along with
educational publishers. Becky paints from a sun-lit studio surrounded
by nature, where chipmunks, birds, and rabbits allow secret glimpses
into their world. www.beckykelly.com
