| About the Book
Based on the popular software program Easy
Writer by the same author, this useful handbook incorporates many of
the components that have made that software successful: only
authentic student writing used in the examples and activities,
exercises in context, meaningful and stimulating passages to read
and edit, and easy and clear explanations. This handbook/workbook
is filled with sentences and paragraphs written by students from
college ESL, remedial writing, and even Freshman English classes,
who agreed to contribute their writing to help others to become
better writers, too.
This Grammar Help! Student Handbook is designed
to be a companion to the Easy Writer software. However, it's so packed
with grammar explanations, examples and activities, and sentences and
paragraphs to edit that you can use it on its own, even without the
software.
Not only ESL students will enjoy and learn from
this book. With its totally fresh and new approach, anybody looking
to improve his grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and spelling,
or interested in improving his editing skills will love using it.
