About the Book

Justin Mabry was looking for a quiet town to recuperate from his divorce and raise his twelve-year-old son. Clark Fork was tucked away in the Rocky Mountains of North Idaho and seemed to offer the simplicity and solitude he desperately needed. But Mabry soon discovered his troubles were far from over.

What should have been a memorable Little League game became a matter of principle, a time to teach his son that doing the right thing could be costly. Yet the price Justin Mabry was about to pay was far beyond anything he, or the United States government, could have imagined.

About the author

Paul Cox was born in rural Arkansas. When he was ten years old, his family moved to California. There he had a successful athletic career culminating with becoming an All American in the decathlon at Cal State Fullerton. After graduating there, Paul attended dental school in San Francisco and received his doctorate degree. He presently lives in North Idaho. He is an avid outdoorsman and, also an artist, designs the covers for his books. Paul has ridden horses and kept a small herd of cattle for twenty years. He lives on a small ranch just outside of Sandpoint.
