About the
Authors:
John C. Calvin, III, is the product of three
generations of preachers. Born in Berkeley, raised in the rural South
and returned to California after completing college and serving in the
Air Force, Bishop Calvin has a unique outlook in facing life. Bishop,
as he is called by Pastors and Members, is known as a teacher,
builder, and forceful preacher of the Gospel. It is from this
background that he rose in Christ to become one of the gifted voices
of the Gospel in America today. He presently is the Senior Bishop and
Pastor of The Tower of Praise Christian Church of Whitter, CA, of
which he is the founder. Calvin is also a retired school
administrator, teacher, musician, and writer. He and his wife Fannie
have been married for 41 years. He is the proud father of two sons,
who are also pastors in their own right. Bishop Calvin, along with
serving as the Senior Pastor of Tower of Praise, is also the Prelate
of the Consortium of Christians Bishops, the International Christian
Think Tank and the Ministry of Helps.
