The most complex issue facing us today is the question of global climate change. Throughout the last 750 million years, the Earth's climate has fluctuated from extreme cold to very warm, and back again. Current global warming is simply a part of this natural cycle of temperature fluctuation. It is not, as many say, the direct result of the activities of mankind. The engine that is driving the current warming trend is the variation in the Sun's solar cycles. Rather than worry about global warming, the real concern should be: "What will happen as a result of that warming?" The answer may be a surprise. If global warming is actually a sign that another ice age is on the horizon, our world may be thrown into chaos. And it will not be an inch-by-inch process. When it happens, it will happen within two to four years! It will be so fast that we will not be able to respond to the change. Our modern civilizations will not survive such a rapid change in the global climate.
