| About the Book
What debilitates a once-heroic Sean Taylor? Is it his
gut-wrenching divorce or his humble circumstance — scraping by on
monthly pension checks?
Little matter.
The retired Navy fighter pilot currently drenches his mental bogeys
in booze. Alcohol has become his daily companion. An insidious ally
that helps him cope. Until, that is, his estranged wife is brutally
murdered, and he becomes the primary suspect. Sean, struggling to
assert his innocence, must now confront the demons that spur his
drinking or drown in alcoholism.
Two women want to kill him.
Two women want to bed him.
Two cities want to indict him — Murder One!
Newell Tarrant has sculpted a gritty mystery tangled in a maze of
vicious felonies. Love. Sex. Money. Murder. Passions snared in the
sordid grip of drugs and alcohol. The characters are unforgettable;
the crimes, unforgivable. The relentless investigation compels you
forward. You remain, however, tantalizing steps behind the elusive
killer.
And all the while, Jungle Rules apply: Do unto others, before they
do unto you.
