About the Book

Every year half a million people converge on Sturgis, South Dakota, and the beautiful, historic Black Hills for the largest and most famous motorcycle rally in the world. This year a murderer joins them and carries out his cold-blooded plans in the midst of hard-core bikers as well as good-hearted weekend riders. Doc is a long haired, tattooed ER doctor who finds himself in the middle of death and mayhem. With the help of two old friends, Jeanette and Bear, and a new one, Erin, he unravels the mystery and eventually brings the killer to his just rewards. The geology, history, and beauty of the region are described in rich detail as are motorcycles, the Sturgis Rally, and some ER trauma medicine. Of course, no biker adventure would be complete without some hard drinking and intense love-making.

About the author

Steven Grimes has been riding motorcycles for over thirty years in rain, snow, and sunshine. He is a full-time Emergency Room physician who has put in his time in the bloody world of the inner city "knife and gun clubs." This is his first published novel. He lives in the midst of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio with his Irish Wolfhound and at least two ghosts.
