Today's culturally diverse employees and customers live in a constant
period of transition. The shelf life of solutions keeps getting
shorter since what works today can become obsolete a few months later.
All this change is coming from or caused by people, technology, new
information, changing cultures, and globalization. Cross Cultural
Change Management (CCCM) is about making sure that today’s diverse
employees are able to see the positive side of each issue and, as
change agents, make sure that every person impacted by a transition
goes through the change process effectively. CCCM offers change
management models and strategies for overcoming resistance to change,
while describing the roles and responsibilities of leaders, managers,
and change agents in such initiatives within a cross-cultural
environment. Advocating the use and skills of situational leadership
concept for effectively transitioning and influencing others as per
their level of readiness to accept the change by telling them about
it, selling the change to them, jointly working with them to implement
the new process or change, and delegating the responsibility and
accountability for the new processes' continuous success to them.
Overall, Cross Cultural Change Management offers culturally
appropriate approaches and strategies for organizations and
individuals to successfully initiate, execute, and manage change. |
