About the Book:
To
the one-hundred-fifty-year-old house that had served the first
lighthouse keeper on the turn of land called Browns Point, had come
twelve people from Oregon and Washington. They were healers, people
with gifts of all kinds. People who were looking for a safe place to
gather, to rest a bit, share some food and talk about the work they
were involved in . . . and they were being hunted.
The
state of Washington was on a witch-hunt again, only this time they
were including healers, especially unlicensed healers.
Ellie
was excited to welcome her friends to her home where they would
celebrate the summer solstice. They were intent on finding ways to
help other healers avoid persecution, especially their friend who was
awaiting the court’s decision to curtail his practice permanently or
let him continue his practice unhindered.
When
the peaceful support of their friend turns ugly, Ellie and her friends
find themselves using their individual and collective talents to bring
back two of their friends from death and then use those same gifts to
search out and stop a dark enemy.
About the
Author:
J. A.
Summers is a resident of the state of Washington. After a near death
experience changed her life, she now walks the path of the mystic,
going where she is led and loves the beauty of the Northwest. There is
a pivotal point on East-bound I-90 which she particularly loves. From
there you can see the snow-capped Cascade Mountains in the rearview
mirror, thinning high desert pines all around, and the beginning of
Eastern Washington’s deserts as they spread out ahead.
