About the Author
Dawn
Piascik is a Registered Nurse in the obstetrical field. She worked
in High Risk Obstetrics at St. John's in Detroit for two years and is
currently working in Labor and Delivery at the birthing center of the Mercy Hospital
in Port Huron. She is a board certified Lactation Consultant.
Dawn has also received training in Atlanta, Georgia for certification
as a Lactation Counselor, and is a Clinical Hypnotherapist trained under
Diane Multine C.Ht.D.C.H. As a Certified Member of the International
Medical & Dental Hypnotherapy Association, Dawn has taught
Childbirth classes in the past and has recently traveled to New York for
Certification & Training as a Certified Hypnobirthing
Practitioner. Dawn teaches childbirth classes using hypnosis. She
has worked in the medical profession for over ten years and is
currently working on her Ph.D. through the American Pacific University.
