| About the Book
On your first encounter with a computer, did you feel anxious and
intimidated? You’re not alone. For any newcomer, it’s natural to
feel you might blow it up by touching the wrong key. Behind the
Digital Veil debunks that painful myth, to cover the basics of
using a computer. Its description of personal computers, different
types of computer software packages, computer protection,
maintenance and ethics, not to mention basic use of the Microsoft
Office Suite—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access—will grant you the
skills and confidence to navigate the digital world. |
