| About the Book The Middle East is in turmoil.
The weather has gone to pot and it’s raining so much that camels are
floating and sheep don’t need dipping. The ultra-secret Department of
Reconnaissance and Knowledge has dispatched its top agent to discover
the cause of all the water. They suspect the rabid terrorist, Abu al
Raini, of some dastardly plot to inundate the world or possibly
threaten Lichtenstein.
Ames Blond, master
spy, travels the world, or at least a small part of it, to find al
Raini and put an end to the scheme. From the mountains of Iraq to a
prison cell in Cuba, Ames bumbles his way to a solution.
He finds allies—a
beautiful Arab girl, a sly con artist who could be from New Jersey or
possibly the CIA, and the might of the United States Marines. Using
all the assets available to him (which isn’t much), Ames defies
insurgent forces, camel and sheep dung, goat cheese, really bad
airline service and all the forces of nature to save the world. |
