A vibrant woman facing her golden years, Lucinda Craig moves to Hill
Crest Manor, a luxury retirement home in the low-country of South
Carolina. Little does she know that the home of her dreams will soon
be the center of her nightmares.
Life is made lively by a cast of quirky residents … and the charming,
handsome Dr. Roland Windom, Hill Crest's resident physician. Lu
learns that retirement homes can be more exciting than she could ever
imagine.
But the delight of realizing that living in such a place is not the
end of life, but a new beginning, is disrupted by Lu’s discovery that
more is happening behind the home’s beautiful facade than retirement
living. When a body is discovered, Lu starts to wonder if she hasn't
made a horrible mistake after all.
