About the Book

College admissions advisor Ed Kingman has a good thing going: he charges under-the-table fees to Ivy League hungry parents at fancy Spring Harbor High School, a snooty place on the North Shore of Long Island. His party comes to an end when porn king and proud parent Victor Stein enters his life. Stein’s rather ordinary son wants to go to Dartmouth, and Stein is making Kingman comply with his son’s wishes. He’s forked over an exorbitant fee for this impossible achievement, but he’s also paid the psychopathic Bobby (the Zig) Falcone, the Korean-born, adopted son of one of his mobster friends, an equivalent amount to insure that Kingman delivers the Ivy. The job will take Kingman across the country–and ultimately to a place where all trails meet.
