About the Book:
Two young women travel to
Miami, Florida at the start of WWII to work as censors for the U.S.
government, with hilarious results as military officialdom tries to
remain aloof in the face of youth, vitality, and joie de vivre. This
humorous memoir set in the Office of Censorship in Miami and then in
New York, may be about cutting, editing, abridging, and purging
written materials, but this time around, it’s completely uncensored.
Enjoy!
