| About the Book
Snides - where
Hitler's SS fights the British SAS - thirty years after WWII has
ended! John Pilgrim, ex-British Special Forces, runs a shop in
London where he sells military collectibles. He discovers a rare
Nazi document and an album containing photos of a British renegade,
who fought on the German side, in the infamous British Free Corps
during WWII. Naturally, the bad guys want these photographs back,
and are prepared to go to any lengths to get them. Pilgrim teams up
with a feisty American reporter, Sally Brandon. who not only looks
good, but shoots straight too; using her Colt .45 Commander! When
she and Pilgrim get together, the bullets fly and the bad guys die!
The book takes the reader on a roller-coaster ride, moving rapidly
from Normandy in 1944 to the desert of Oman, and from Soho, London's
'Sin Center', where sleazy strip clubs and 'adult' bookstores rub
shoulders with gourmet restaurants, to the back streets of Belfast,
in Northern Ireland and the battle-torn streets of Berlin in 1945.
