the Author
Yiu Kwok was born in Hong Kong in 1973. He came to the U.S. at the age
of ten. Growing up in Queens, New York from a family of restaurant
background. A self-taught artist. Art and writing weren’t taken
seriously until college. Originally, he contemplated a career in
teaching, but change his mind after a year in the program. He then
went on to study fashion and jewelry design at the Fashion Institute
of Technology. (applause)
