About the Book

When her fiancé Craig mysteriously vanishes, Colleen Duncan’s perfect world is turned upside-down. The investigation into his disappearance reveals the ugly truth—Craig is a liar and an embezzler.  Her connection to Craig has not only made her the target of police questioning, but also the target of menacing strangers.  As the Christmas season approaches, a sorrowful and humiliated Colleen is vulnerable to those who conspire to deceive her.

Unsure of her instincts and surrounded by danger, she trusts no one—until the accommodating stranger with the piercing blue eyes enters her life.  Yet, his sudden but timely appearance troubles Colleen.  Could Derek Manning be the shadow that stalks her every move?

As questions haunt her mind, she is certain of one thing: she is the prey of the shadow.
