About the Book:
Forgiving someone who has done you grievous
harm takes a lot of praying. In the long run, however, you can get
rid of the hatred and begin to feel blessed. Child abuse makes
children feel guilty when they’ve done nothing wrong. Only when the
subject comes out of the closet, and children realize they were not
at fault, can the healing begin.
This is the story of a man who is a pedophile,
sociopath, murderer, and rapist. A young woman is forced into marriage
with him, and they have seven children, all of whom suffer at his
hands. All the abuse and molestation causes this man's children to
hate him and to wonder why their mother doesn't do something about
him. Unfortunately, the mother feels she has no choice, no rights, and
nowhere to go to get away from him.
There are three girls and four boys in the
family. All are abused and yet suffer from the guilt they feel for
what happened. One girl is sent to a mental hospital after being
raped. She is adopted by the doctor who helps her recover. Becoming a
psychologist herself, she eventually returns to her family upon her
mother’s death. She is the one who will lead her siblings out of the
darkness of their secrets and into the light.
