About the Author
Bruce Bradley made the decision to become a writer at the age of
nine, while living in an unfinished house, thirty-five miles
outside of Fairbanks, Alaska. It had no running water and
television reception was ruined by a nearby missile site. The
temperature often dropped to -65 degrees and stayed there for
weeks at a time. Reading became Bruce’s only escape.
Over the
years, Bradley has worked at many jobs. He’s been, by turns, a cook,
a sheet metal worker in a Naval shipyard, a salesman, a reporter,
photographer, private investigator, a bartender and a winemaker.
