At the age of seven, Corsino's life changes forever when
his father sends him to France to protect him from the horrors of
the Spanish Civil War. But France is not a safe haven and Corsino
spends five years there during World War II. When he is finally
brought to the United States, he lives mostly in orphanages until
his high school graduation. After raising a family and retiring, he
finally returns to Spain in search of his lost family.
Corsino is the true story of one man's odyssey to reconnect
with his roots. As he endeavors to tell his tale, he discovers that
writing the book is not the hardest part. The hardest part is the
reliving the heartache of yearning for his lost family.
