About the Book:
This stage play takes a humorous and contemporary view of the
Christmas Story.
God interviews his top three angels in order to give one of them the
honor of helping to bring His Son into the world. Gabriel, who seems
to be the least qualified, is given the task, fumbles his way through
the assignment. In the process, he reveals himself to the significant
characters and circumstances that unfold. When it looks like things
are not going as Gabriel had planned, he loses confidence in himself
and fears that he has let God down. In God’s eyes, all has gone as
planned and Gabriel is rewarded for his efforts.
