About the Book:
Young, college age people in
Ashland, Oregon get involved with a local Buddhist temple and its
plans to build a new temple and giant Buddha statue. Local bigotry and
a marginal group of bikers obstruct and harass them. Local real estate
intrigues and outbreaks of violence lead to the final conflict, as
Mother Nature has her say in it all.
An engaging, contemporary novel
set in one of the most exciting cities of the new West. It powerfully
draws the forces of reason and compassion against bigotry and
xenophobia. Lots of lots of hot action, as young people make their
first big mark on the world.
