How your manuscript should be
prepared for submission:
1. Single or double spaced 2. No hard returns (enter) at the ends of lines or sentences unless they are the last sentence of a paragraph. 3. No section breaks. 4. Be sure that all the chapter breaks are clearly marked and the chapter titles are bold. 5. Do not double space between paragraphs unless it's a scene break: A scene break is a change of subject, location or character. 6. Indent paragraphs by using the Tab Key not the space bar 7. Send your work to us in an easily readable font like Times New Roman (10-12 point), Bookman, or Arial. If you are using a combination of fonts in the book, please let us know. 8. Send one file containing all the chapters. 9. Do not manually hyphenate words. Let your word processor do it or don't do it at all and we'll do it. 10. Never, ever, put in page numbers manually. 11. Do not put in headers or footers. 12. The best format to use when submitting a file is MS Word. 13. We accept MS Word, Corel WordPerfect, MS Works, Quark, Adobe PDF, and most other formats. Contact us if you're not sure. 14. We do accept artwork for books. As long as your artwork is black and white, and on a disk or embedded in your file (scanned in at 600 dpi) there's no problem and there's no extra charge. If we have to scan the pictures in, then the charge is $5 per picture. You can send us your artwork on CD or upload it to us. We will accept up to 7 graphics free of charge. For more than 7 pictures there is an additional formatting charge of $4 per image.
