Children's books are often sold on the illustrations alone, so it's important to make sure that yours are beautiful, compelling, captivating, stirring, intriguing or any combination of these attributes. You may be able to do the illustrations for your book yourself. Or, you may know someone who is good at art and might be interested in doing the illustrations for you. If not, we have children's book illustrators who can do professional artwork for your book. The cost ranges from $150 to $300 per illustration, depending on how realistic you want the artwork to be. Some examples of books that have been professionally illustrated are: The Other Side of the Forest by Annabel A. Francis-Harris or Tucker Goes to Heaven by Alicia Bausley.
